Anti-Social Behaviour at Llansteffan |
||
|
Last night Carmarthen NPPT were made aware of a large group of youths approx. 80-100, who had attended Llansteffan Beach & Castle area.
These youths were causing Anti-Social Behaviour by means of drinking, littering and climbing the castle walls causing distress to members of the public.
We would encourage parents who are dropping their children off in the area to be aware that any offences reported/witnessed will be dealt with by Police and any other relevant agencies. This includes parents knowingly buying alcohol for their children to attend the location.
We will not tolerate this behaviour and want our beaches and castles to be places that families can all visit throughout the summer.
If this behaviour continues, we will look to put a Section 34 order in place. This will allow officers to disperse persons from the location and from re attending the area for up to a 48hour period under Sec 35 Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. | ||
